Meso American Lilly

In one of my old school books, I found an image of what was refered to as a "Mayan Water Lilly emblem". I thought it was nifty, so I redrew it for some tattoo flash, and only about half way thru copying the original did I notice the bird and fish shapes on the side of the center lily pad. Them Mayans were so cleaver in hiding and expressing subtle imagery
